Three arrested with heroin in separate operations in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Police have arrested three individuals with heroin from separate locations in Kanchanpur district. A team from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, along with its subordinate units, carried out the arrests based on special information.

On Monday (2083/01/06), a joint team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Dhangadhi, and the Area Police Office, Jhalari, apprehended one person from Shuklaphanta Municipality-5, Khajuwa.

The arrested individual has been identified as Subash Pandey of Beldandi Rural Municipality-2. According to police, 49.330 grams of heroin, net weight, was recovered from his possession during a suspicious check.

On the same day, a team from the Area Police Office, Beldandi, arrested two individuals from Belauri Municipality-10, Darsikhalla.

The arrested have been identified as Ishwar Dagoura of Ojhakhali, Bedkot Municipality-6, and Akash Dagoura of Bichphanta, Bedkot Municipality-5, who was riding the same motorcycle. Police recovered 10.520 grams of brown heroin from them while they were on a motorcycle bearing registration number Province 02-003 Pa 2373.

The District Police Office, Kanchanpur, stated that all three individuals have been taken into custody and further investigation has been initiated in accordance with the law.
