Power supply to be disrupted in various areas of Dhangadhi until 5pm
Dhangadhi: The Dhangadhi Distribution Center under the Nepal Electricity Authority has issued an urgent notice regarding a temporary disruption in electricity service. According to the authority, the interruption is due to ongoing work to cut branches and bushes along the HT and LT lines under the Rajpur and Kailali Village feeders.
As per the notice, electricity supply will be suspended from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm on 2083 Baisakh 6.
The authority stated that areas around Bishalnagar, Chatakpur, Boradandi, Fapla and Bhatbhateni under the Rajpur feeder will be affected. Similarly, electricity service will be disrupted in areas such as Uttarbehdi, Chatakpur, Tulsichowk, Boradandi, Madhuban and surrounding locations under the Kailali Village feeder.
The authority has apologized for the inconvenience caused to customers and has requested necessary support and cooperation. It has also informed that the line may be restored earlier or later than the scheduled time depending on the completion of the work.
Similarly, the authority stated that electricity service will be gradually resumed after the completion of the work.
