Three arrested for shop thefts in Mahendranagar

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested three individuals on charges of theft in Kanchanpur. The arrests were made in connection with burglaries at two shops in Madanchowk, Bhimdatta Municipality-4, Mahendranagar, which occurred on Chaitra 22 at around 1:17 am.

According to police, Rs 36,000 in cash was stolen from the ‘Famous Chowmin Center’ operated by Deepak Bahadur Thakurathi after breaking the shutter. Similarly, Rs 30,000 in cash was stolen from ‘Roshni Su-Center’ run by Lalita Joshi in the same manner.

Following the incident, a police team was immediately deployed and initiated an investigation. During the process, three individuals involved in the theft, identified with changed names 2082/083(75)50(A), 2082/083(75)50(B), and 2082/083(75)50(C), were arrested.

Police have stated that further investigation into the case is ongoing.
