Government declares saturday and sunday as public holidays starting tomorrow

Kathmandu: The government has announced that Saturday and Sunday will be observed as public holidays, effective from tomorrow.

Government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel stated that the decision applies to all government offices and educational institutions.

Minister Pokharel explained that the measure was taken to address the inconvenience caused by fuel supply issues.

He further added that government offices will operate from 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday.
