Home Minister Sudan Gurung emphasizes: 'No government above the people'

Kathmandu: Home Minister Sudan Gurung has stated that no construction is greater than the builder and that no government stands above the people.

Sharing a picture of himself resting on a sofa on social media Friday morning, Gurung wrote on Facebook, "There is no construction bigger than the builder, there is no government above the people."

According to the Home Ministry, the photo was taken while he was at the ministry. Since his appointment, Gurung has been actively engaged in his duties, working late into the night to monitor and inspect sensitive security agencies, including Tribhuvan International Airport and Police Headquarters.
