UML calls for impartial probe into violence during Gen-z movement
Kathmandu: CPN (UML) parliamentary party leader Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' has called for an impartial investigation into the incidents of public property damage, vandalism, and fire that occurred during the Gen-z movement on Bhadra 23 and 24.
Speaking at the first meeting of the first session of the House of Representatives, Thapa demanded a thorough inquiry and alleged that the violent activities during the movement were well-planned.
UML Vice-Chairman Thapa also congratulated the National Independent Party (RSP) for securing a strong position in the elections. He stated that although the House of Representatives election placed UML as a smaller party, they will continue to move forward while facing the challenges ahead.
