Hospital identifies six health conditions in UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli
Kathmandu: Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital has released a statement detailing the health condition of former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (UML), KP Sharma Oli.
According to the hospital, Oli was admitted after experiencing an abnormal increase in heart rate and is currently undergoing treatment under continuous medical supervision. During medical examinations, six health issues have been identified.
The statement notes that Oli, who has previously undergone a kidney transplant, has been diagnosed with hydronephrosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, hypothyroidism, atrial fibrillation and cholelithiasis.
Oli, who was arrested on Saturday, was admitted to Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital following a deterioration in his health condition. He is currently receiving treatment under doctors’ supervision in bed number 501 of the hospital’s Annex-1 building.
