UML's Yagya Bahadur Bogati elected from Achham-2

Kathmandu: CPN-UML candidate Yagya Bahadur Bogati has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Achham constituency number 2.

Bogati secured 9,518 votes to win the seat. His closest rival, Pushpa Bahadur Shah of the Nepali Congress, received 9,046 votes. Bogati defeated Shah by a margin of 472 votes.

In the same constituency, Bal Bahadur Kunwar of the Nepal Communist Party received 6,493 votes, while Bhupdev Shah of the National Independent Party secured 4,562 votes.
