UML forms 3,333-member election campaign committee in Kailali-2

Dhangadhi: The CPN (UML) has established a 3,333-member election campaign core committee in Kailali constituency number 2 to support its candidate Surya Bahadur Thapa in the upcoming House of Representatives election on Falgun 21.

The committee was formed during a meeting of the Regional Election Coordination Committee on Saturday and is being coordinated by party central member Kamala Kumari Wali, according to Chudamani Bhatta, head of UML Kailali’s Publication and Publicity Department.

A 35-member secretariat was also created to ensure the campaign is systematic, effective, and results-oriented. The core committee and secretariat will lead door-to-door campaigns, voter outreach, publicity, and programs to strengthen party organization at the grassroots level.

UML leader Daisy Pandey stated that all leaders and activists will unite to mobilize public support for the party in Kailali-2, emphasizing the policies, principles, and political experience of candidate Thapa.

The meeting further committed to conducting a disciplined, dignified, and citizen-focused campaign leading up to the elections.
