RSP revises proportional list, Vijay Jairu included from Dadeldhura
Dhangadhi: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has made revisions to its proportional closed list, including changes in the Dalit male category. Despite pressure to remove his name, Prakash Saput remains in the second position. Vijay Jairu, whose name was previously excluded, has now been included in the proportional list.
Jairu, originally from Kanchanpur, had received the highest number of votes from the Dalit category during the party’s primary elections, and his earlier omission from the closed list had drawn criticism. He has now been placed at number four on the list. Ramji Ram, who was previously ranked fourth, has withdrawn his name. Rupak Bishwakarma Ghimire continues to hold the top position among Dalit men.
In the Dalit women’s cluster, Rima Bishwakarma, who came from Ujjal Nepal, has retained her position. Similarly, Abhishek Raj Singh, also from Ujjal Nepal, has been placed at number four in the Madhesi cluster.
