Nirmal Kumar Bhandari honored with ‘Literary and Creative Excellence Award’

Dhangadhi: Senior Far West writer and creative artist Nirmal Kumar Bhandari has been awarded the ‘Literary and Creative Excellence Award’ during the Chaitanya Second Student Festival–2082 organized at Chaitanya Pathshala.

The award was presented in recognition of his significant contribution to promoting literary awareness in society and fostering a culture of creativity through his continuous literary work in the Far West.

In acknowledgment of his role in inspiring the new generation toward writing, reading and creative expression through literary practice, original creativity and cultural contribution, writer and media personality Dr. Nawaraj Lamsal, along with Chaitanya Pathshala Principal Premnidhi Ojha and Chairman Ganesh Prasad Joshi, honored him with a certificate of appreciation and a dosalla at the inspirational program held on the eighth day of the festival.

Principal Premnidhi Ojha said that such recognition programs play an important role in increasing students’ interest in literature, art and creative expression.

Accepting the honor, literary figure Bhandari stated that the recognition from Chaitanya Pathshala has made him more responsible. He expressed his commitment to remain active in literary creation and to continue guiding the younger generation in the days ahead. He also emphasized the need for collective efforts to further establish the literary identity of the Far West at the national level.

Under the Chaitanya Second Student Festival–2082, various educational, cultural, sports and creative activities are being conducted, along with programs to honor individuals who have made notable contributions in different fields.
