Godawaridham to host Bahrashi darshan Makar Mela from poush 30
Dhangadhi: The Bahrashi Darshan Makar Mela 2082, organized as a mini-Kumbh, is set to take place at the Godawaridham Kumbh Mela area in Kailali, one of Nepal’s prominent pilgrimage sites.
According to the organizers, the Makar Mela will be inaugurated at 1 pm on Poush 30 with special pujas conducted in accordance with religious rituals. The inauguration ceremony will be attended by saints and mahants, acharyas, and distinguished personalities from religious, social, political and administrative sectors, along with representatives of gurukuls and devotees.
The Bahrashi Darshan Makar Mela, scheduled to run from Poush 30 to Magh 12, will feature a range of religious programs, including the recitation of five Puranas, planetary peace rituals, Lakshavana, yoga and meditation sessions, bhajan-kirtan, and religious discourses.
Padmaraj Joshi, Chairman of the Godavari Dham Development Committee, said that devotees, dignitaries from across the country, and various social and religious organizations have been invited to participate in the religious observances.
