Sudurpaschim Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah returns after medical treatment in India

Dhangadhi: Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah has returned home after receiving medical treatment in India.

Chief Minister Shah arrived back in Dhangadhi on Tuesday night following two weeks of treatment at Max Hospital in New Delhi. He had traveled to India on November 26 after experiencing health issues related to his right leg, spine, and nerves.

According to his secretariat, Chief Minister Shah traveled by road from Dhangadhi to New Delhi for treatment and returned to Dhangadhi the same way. Doctors have advised him to undergo spine surgery.

Prior to traveling to India, Chief Minister Shah had received treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi as well as Bir Hospital and Medicity Hospital in Kathmandu. Based on medical advice for further evaluation and care, he proceeded to New Delhi.

The secretariat has confirmed that all expenses related to the treatment were borne personally by Chief Minister Shah.
