Saturday women’s entrepreneurs fair resumes in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: The Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City has resumed the Saturday Women’s Entrepreneurs Fair from today. The fair, previously held every Saturday under the management of the sub-metropolitan city, had been postponed for a few months during the summer and rainy season.

Products and food items produced by women entrepreneurs are being sold at the fair.

The sub-metropolitan city had initiated the weekly fair last year to encourage women’s participation in entrepreneurship. However, the fair, which was conducted in an open space, had been halted since last Chaitra due to adverse weather conditions. After the pause during the rainy season, it is being re-organized from today, said Chandra Mahara, Employment Coordinator of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City.

The fair will take place from 2 p.m. on Saturdays along Jenji Marg in front of Park Mode, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-1, under the management of the sub-metropolitan city. Arrangements for stalls, tents, tables, and mobile toilets have been made, and the city has been providing stalls free of cost for participating entrepreneurs.
