Bhimdatta municipality to provide relief and build memorial square for Bipin Joshi

Dhangadhi: Bhimdatta Municipality in Kanchanpur has announced financial assistance to the family of Bipin Joshi and plans to construct a memorial square in his honor.

The municipality will provide Rs 200,000 as relief to the family of Bipin Joshi of Bhimdatta-3, Mahendranagar, who lost his life during the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

On Tuesday, Mayor Padam Bogati visited Bipin’s family during their Kiriya ceremony, expressed condolences, and announced the relief package along with the plan to build a memorial square in his memory.

Bipin, who had gone to Israel two years ago, was taken hostage by Hamas. On Asoj 27, 2082, during the ceasefire, Hamas handed over Bipin’s body to Israel. He was later cremated with national honors on Kartik 4, 2082, at the Mahakali River.
