One killed in jeep accident in Darchula’s Marma

Darchula: One person has died in a jeep accident in Danikhet, Marma Rural Municipality-3, Darchula.

A jeep (Sudurpaschim Province No. 01 001 Ja 1662) traveling from Latinath to Sarsi met with an accident in Danikhet on Friday morning. The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Karbir Singh Thagunna, the owner of the jeep, according to Police Inspector Bikram Shahi of the District Police Office.

Police said it is yet to be determined who was driving the vehicle and how the accident occurred. A police team from the Area Police Office, Latinath, has been deployed to the scene to search for the driver.
