Police seize and destroy firecrackers worth Rs 100,000 in Dodhara Chandani

Kanchanpur: Police have seized and destroyed illegal firecrackers valued at Rs 100,000 in Babathan Bazaar, Dodhara Chandani Municipality-7, Kanchanpur.

Acting on a confidential tip-off, a team from the Area Police Office, Dodhara Chandani, discovered various types of firecrackers unattended in three sacks along the roadside of Babathan Bazaar. Deputy Superintendent of Police Sagar Bohara from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, stated that the seized firecrackers were taken under control and destroyed in the presence of local representatives and media personnel.

The police administration has urged the public to refrain from illegal sale, distribution, and use of firecrackers during festivals, emphasizing that such acts pose significant risks to both people and property.
