Customs-evading sweets and arms worth Rs 380,000 seized in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Police have seized customs-evading sweets and arms worth Rs 380,000 from Kanchanpur.

A patrol team deployed from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, confiscated the illegally imported goods, including the vehicle used for transportation. The items had been brought from India in a Bolero jeep (registration number M 1 Cha 380) driven by 26-year-old Harish Bhatta of Aithpur, Bhimdatta Municipality-6, and Tilachaur, Bhimdatta Municipality-8.
