11 arrested in Godavari, Kailali for involvement in murder case
Dhangadhi: Police have arrested 11 individuals in connection with a murder case in Godavari, Kailali. They were detained from Dhangadhi on Tuesday for allegedly attacking 21-year-old Gaurav Air of Navadurga Rural Municipality-2, Dadeldhura, with a sharp weapon while he was having dinner at a hotel in Godavari Municipality-4 on Asoj 26.
According to police, Air sustained injuries to his head and neck during the attack. He was initially taken to Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi for treatment and later referred to India for further medical care.
A police team deployed from the District Police Office, Kailali, apprehended the suspects while they were attempting to flee to India. They were arrested at Trinagar Customs, located along the Nepal-India border in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Bhim Nepali, 29, alias Sunny, of Dhangadhi-2; Anupam Singh, 18, of Dhangadhi-2; Kiran Mahara, 23, of Krishnapur Municipality-9, Kanchanpur; and Muskan Singh, 18, of Dhangadhi-2.
Others arrested include Babin Singh, 20, of Dhangadhi-2; Gobind Balayar, 26, of Krishnapur-9, Kanchanpur; Gopal Bhatt, 26, of Dhangadhi-2; Vishal Bohara, 18, of Dhangadhi-3; Prince Singh, 18; Dinesh BK, 32, of Punnawas-10, Kanchanpur; and Anil BK, 32, of Punnawas-10, Kanchanpur, according to the Kailali Police.
