Dhangadhi: An interactive orientation session concluded today at Seto Ghar Farm & Resort, bringing together youth and skilled artisans under the Alumni Small Grant (ASG) initiative.

The session gathered around eight participants, including artisans engaged in weaving, handicrafts, and traditional art forms. They shared personal stories of how they first learned their skills and discussed the challenges of scaling up their businesses.

A key highlight of the program was the introduction of digital platforms and their role in transforming local enterprises. Discussions focused on how social media and online marketplaces can connect artisans with wider audiences, boost sales, and preserve traditional crafts in today’s economy.

During the reflection session, participants admitted that many had been unaware of the opportunities offered by digital platforms. They said the program opened their eyes to “the power of digital space” and inspired them to think beyond local markets.

The program concluded with a commitment to further learning, as participants prepared to apply their new knowledge in creating brand stories, capturing product videos, and setting up Facebook pages to share their crafts with the broader community.
