Sanfe-Martadi highway reopens after landslide clearance in Bajura

Bajura: Traffic has resumed on the Sanfe-Martadi Highway after it was blocked due to rising river levels triggered by incessant rains since Friday night.

The highway was obstructed following a landslide at the Rila River section of Badimalika Municipality-4, a key route connecting the district headquarters.

According to Dev Bahadur Chaudhary, Police Inspector and Information Officer at the District Police Office, Bajura, vehicular movement has been restored after the landslide debris was cleared with the help of JCVs.
