Fugitive convicted in corruption case arrested in Kanchanpur
Kanchanpur: Police have arrested a fugitive from Kanchanpur who was convicted in a corruption case.
The District Court, Kanchanpur, on 16th Magh 2077, had sentenced Nandalal Tiruwa, 54, of Laljhadi Rural Municipality-2, to six months in prison and a fine of Rs 10,000 in connection with a corruption case involving a fake certificate. Tiruwa had been absconding since the verdict.
According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, a police team arrested him from his residence on Thursday.
