Man arrested with leopard skin in Darchula, investigation underway

Darchula: Police have arrested a man found in possession of leopard skin in Ward-3 of Shailyashikhar Municipality, Darchula.

The arrested individual has been identified as 50-year-old Bhan Singh Ayer from Ward-7 of Puchaurdi Municipality, Baitadi District, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Dahal, Chief of the District Police Office, Darchula. A police team deployed from the District Police Office apprehended Ayer along with the leopard skin.

Authorities have stated that further investigation is ongoing to determine the origin of the leopard skin and whether other individuals are involved.
