Armed police seize customs-evading clothes worth Rs 25 lakhs in Dhangadhi
Dhangadhi: The Armed Police have seized customs-evading clothes valued at approximately Rs 25 lakhsfrom a location in Dhangadhi, Kailali.
On Monday, Armed Police Superintendent of Police Surendra Raj Ranjit reported that illegal clothes worth around Rs 25 lakhs were recovered from a shed-like hut in Kheda village, located across the Mohana River in Khedaghat, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-19. A team of 31 personnel, deployed under the command of Superintendent Ranjit from the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 34 Battalion Headquarters, Kailali, carried out the seizure following a special tip-off.
The seized goods consist of 24 bundles of clothes, including ladies’ suits, sarees, kurtas, police uniforms, and children’s clothing. These items have been handed over to the Kailali Customs Office, Dhangadhi, for further necessary action.
