Body of unidentified child found on Mohana riverbank in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: The body of a child was discovered on the banks of the Mohana River near the Provincial Ayurveda Hospital in Dhangadhi on Tuesday, police said.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajkumar Singh, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kailali, said the body appears to be that of an 8- to 9-year-old child and is in a decomposed state.

The identity of the child has yet to be confirmed. The body has been taken to Seti Provincial Hospital for further examination.
