Man arrested with multiple types of drugs in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A 27-year-old man has been arrested in Kailali with various types of drugs in his possession.

Shankar Thapa, a resident of Katase, Janaki Rural Municipality-9, was apprehended while sitting suspiciously in a room inside his house. During a search of his person and residence, police recovered 800 milligrams of brown heroin, 30 grams of marijuana, 10 Nicator tablets, 2 Lekhko tablets, and 1 Tramadol capsule.

Thapa was taken into custody on Thursday by a joint police team from the Narcotics Control Bureau branch in Dhangadhi and the Police Post in Amravati, Kailali. Authorities have confirmed that further investigation into the case is underway.
