Former campus chief injured by falling tree in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Karna Bahadur Bhandari, former campus chief of National College, was injured after a sal tree broke and fell due to strong winds in Kailali.

The incident occurred on Friday morning in Ghodaghodi Municipality-1, Sukhad. Bhandari sustained a head injury when the tree near his residence broke and struck him, according to the Area Police Office, Sukhad.

He was initially taken to Ghodaghodi Hospital but was later referred to Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi for advanced treatment, police said.
