Rs 1 crore playground under construction in Ganyapadhura, Dadeldhura

Dadeldhura: Ganyapadhura Rural Municipality is constructing a municipal-level playground in Taurdanda, Ward No. 2, with an investment of around Rs 1 crore.

Chairman Indra Bahadur Karki stated that the absence of a proper playground has been affecting various sports activities in the area. He expressed hope that the new facility will encourage local youth to engage in sports.

“The aim is to develop this as a model playground for the district, especially since there isn’t a single standard ground available. It will also be suitable for playing cricket,” Chairman Karki said.
