Third National Rajsorathi Gotyar Tharu Society conference concludes in Godavari

Dhangadhi: The third National Rajsorathi Gotyar Tharu Society Conference concluded in Faklapur, Godavari Municipality-8, Kailali, with a strong call to preserve the language, culture, and customs of the Tharu community.

The conference was held under the theme “Let’s preserve our culture, language and customs”, drawing leaders and representatives from various sectors of the Tharu community. Former Minister of State Chun Kumari Chaudhary attended as the chief guest and emphasized the collective responsibility to safeguard the community's identity and originality.

“Preserving the cultural heritage of the Tharu society is the main need of the day,” Chaudhary stated, encouraging all community members to unite in protecting their shared legacy.

Senior society members delivered addresses highlighting the history, language, and traditional values of the Tharu people. They reaffirmed their commitment to advocating more strongly for the rights and interests of the Tharu community in the days ahead.
