Two absconding individuals arrested in cheque dishonour case in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Two individuals who had been absconding in connection with a cheque dishonour case have been arrested from Kailali.

Shuklama Tamang, 44, of Punarsha Narpali-3 in Kanchanpur, who was fined Rs 2,000 by the District Court Kailali, and Bindu Shrestha, 50, of the same area, who was fined Rs 1,000 in the same case, were taken into custody.

A police team deployed from the District Police Office Kailali apprehended both individuals near the District Administration Office at Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-1 on Monday. They have been presented before the Kailali District Court, according to the police.
