Dhangadhi: Tej Malla's independent panel, which had contested the election at Kailali Multiple Campus, has announced its support for Nepal Students' Union (NSU) candidate Santosh Pant.

As the election atmosphere intensifies at Kailali Multiple Campus, Malla declared at a press conference held in Dhangadhi on Sunday that he has withdrawn his candidacy in favor of supporting Pant’s panel.

Malla, who is also a cadre of the Nepal Students' Union, stated that although there was some dissatisfaction, he chose to support Pant’s panel. In a statement, he mentioned that he had initially filed his candidacy for the post of president based on the wishes of students within the organization. However, to strengthen the NSU’s joint panel, he has deactivated his candidacy and urged voters to support the Nepal Students' Union's joint panel.
