Provincial Chief Miya visits skill and self-employment fair in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Far Western Provincial Chief Nazir Miya observed the ongoing Skill and Self-Employment Fair in Dhangadhi, engaging with participants and discussing opportunities for self-reliance.

During his visit, Provincial Chief Miya toured all stalls, interacted with trainees, and emphasized the importance of utilizing acquired skills for self-employment. He encouraged Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, the event organizer, to motivate participants to effectively apply their newfound skills. Expressing satisfaction, he remarked that the fair had been fruitful in promoting skill development and entrepreneurship.

Deputy Chief of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, Kandakala Rana, accompanied the Provincial Chief during the visit. The month-long fair has 1,040 participants learning skills across 29 different categories. Deputy Chief Rana highlighted that employment opportunities are being arranged for most trainees and confirmed that the Sub-Metropolitan City plans to organize the fair annually.
