A teenager has been arrested for raping a mentally retarded girl in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A 16-year-old teenager has been arrested on charges of raping a mentally retarded girl in Kailali. A police team deployed at 4:30 pm on Wednesday arrested a teenager from Kailari Rural Municipality-8 after receiving information that he had raped a 15-year-old mentally retarded girl.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) DSP Kabindra Singh Bohara, spokesperson of the District Police Office, said that the teenager has been arrested and taken into custody. The victim girl has been brought to Seti Provincial Hospital for a medical examination.
