Two dead, two injured in drowning incident at Mohana river, Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Two teenagers lost their lives while bathing in the Mohana River in Dhangadhi, while two others sustained injuries.

The victims have been identified as Dinesh Ojha (15) and Asis Ojha (16), both residents of Phulbari village in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-19. The injured, Karan Singh Dhami (16) and Adarsh Pujara (15), who are also from the same area, are currently undergoing treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital, according to the District Police Office, Kailali.

The tragic incident occurred on Friday when all four teenagers drowned while bathing in the river. A joint search operation conducted by the District Police Office, Kailali, and the Armed Police Force, Phulbari, led to the rescue of two individuals, while the bodies of the deceased were recovered approximately 30 meters south of the incident site.
