Journalist Ramesh Aidi supports save house in memory of late mother
Dhangadhi: Journalist Ramesh Aidi has extended his support to social service initiatives on the occasion of the third death anniversary of his late mother, Visna Devi Aidi.
Honoring his mother's memory, Aidi, the director of Sudurpaschim Times, has provided essential material assistance to the Women and Children Save House in Attariya and the Gaushala in Phulbari, Dhangadhi-18. With a vision of transforming remembrance into service, he donated food grains worth Rs 10,000 to the Save House and five kattas of salt to the Gaushala.
The assistance handover ceremony at the Save House was attended by prominent journalists, including Kailali FNJ President Shravan Deuba, Bajhang FNJ President Lalit Bahadur Singh, Press Union Central Member Pushparaj Joshi, and Province Vice President Tekendra Deuba, among others.
Aidi has been engaging in charitable activities every year on Falgun 29 in honor of his mother. On her first death anniversary, he supported Manav Sewa Ashram, while on the second anniversary, he provided food aid to Drishti Foundation. He expressed his commitment to establishing the day of his mother’s passing as a day of social service.
The Women and Children Save House in Attariya shelters more than 40 homeless children, relying on contributions from various donors for their care and upbringing. Meanwhile, the salt handover event for the Gaushala saw the presence of Dhangadhi-19 Ward Member Harendra Aidi, with the support being received by Gaushala Chairman Yadav Prasad Bhandari.
