Five arrested with drugs in Kailali and Kanchanpur
Dhangadhi: Police have arrested five individuals on drug-related charges from Kailali and Kanchanpur.
On Saturday, authorities apprehended two suspects from Dhangadhi, Kailali, and three from Bhimdatta Municipality, Kanchanpur.
In Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-1, 30-year-old Lokendra Kathayat was arrested at Pushpalal Chowk with 60 milligrams of drugs. Additionally, 21-year-old Manish Kunjeda was taken into custody for alleged drug use and assaulting police officers, according to the Provincial Police Office, Dhangadhi.
Meanwhile, in Bhimdatta Municipality-3, Kanchanpur, police arrested three individuals following a motorcycle check. During the search of a motorcycle bearing the number Sudurpaschim Province 02 004 Pa 1316, 0.5 grams of a brown powdery substance suspected to be narcotics was recovered from 25-year-old Rakesh Chaudhary. The motorcycle was being driven by 27-year-old Ajay Chaudhary, and an 18-year-old Indian national riding with them was also arrested.
