Father and Daughter laid to rest together after tragic loss

Dhangadhi: In a heart-wrenching tragedy, Mohan Bohara and his daughter Nirmala Bohara of Mahakali Municipality-6, Nisil, Darchula, were buried together in the same grave.

Mohan Bohara, a permanent resident of Mahakali Municipality-6, was employed at the Triveni Customs Office, Nawalparasi. He passed away from a heart attack on Falgun 13. Just two days later, his daughter Nirmala Bohara lost her life in a fatal road accident in Kanchanpur.

Nirmala, who had been staying in Mahendranagar with her brother for her studies, was on her way back from Kanchanpur after bidding farewell to her late father when tragedy struck. On Thursday morning, a truck (Ba 01-006 Kha 3537) crashed into the motorcycle (Ma 1 Pa 4658) she was riding at the forest committee area of Shuklaphanta Municipality-5 along the East-West Highway, killing her instantly.

Following the devastating loss, both father and daughter were laid to rest together in the same grave in Kanchanpur, confirmed Navin Dhami, a relative of the deceased.
