Monarchy must be restored, Says RPP general secretary JB Rana
Dhangadhi: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) General Secretary Dhaval Shamsher JB Rana has called for the abolition of federalism and the restoration of the monarchy, asserting that federalism has fostered corruption in the country.
Speaking at a gathering organized by the RPP in Dhangadhi, JB Rana, who is also a Member of the House of Representatives, emphasized the need for unity among forces opposed to the republic, federalism, and corruption.
Call for a Monarchy and Hindu Nation
“It is crucial for the current government, republic, federalism, and all anti-corruption forces to unite in order to reestablish the monarchy,” Rana stated. He further argued that a monarchy, coupled with a Hindu nation, is necessary to guide the country toward stability and prosperity.
“We appeal to the people to join this movement and stand in favor of the monarchy,” he said, adding that former King Gyanendra has already expressed willingness to return if the people support him. Rana also warned that federalism would be abolished through a peaceful movement.
Criticism of Federalism and Secularism
Rana claimed that federalism and secularism were introduced at the behest of foreign influences, which he referred to as "dollarists." He argued that these systems are widely unpopular and have failed to benefit the nation.
Monarchy as a Solution to Corruption and Unemployment
According to Rana, only a monarchical system can effectively address corruption, create employment opportunities, and revive the economy. He criticized corrupt leaders and cooperative fraudsters, stating, “Factories have shut down, and millions of youths are unemployed. Cooperative fraud has displaced thousands. Those responsible for looting the nation must be held accountable and separated from the state. This can be achieved through a peaceful movement.”
Motorcycle Rally Ahead of the Meeting
Prior to the gathering, the RPP organized a motorcycle rally from Attariya, the declared capital of the Far West, to Dhangadhi, demonstrating their commitment to the cause.
