Date nut cultivation gains momentum in Jorayal, Doti

Dhangadhi: Farmers in Patal, Jorayal Rural Municipality-3, Doti, have witnessed the emergence of date nut, marking a significant development in local agriculture.

Following this discovery, a technical team from the Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC) Office, Jumla, along with experts from the Dry Fruit Development Office, Satbaz, Baitadi, and the Agriculture Development Branch of Jorayal Rural Municipality, has initiated efforts to utilize and promote date nut cultivation.

This campaign, aimed at expanding date nut farming, will be implemented throughout Jorayal Rural Municipality, according to Gangadatta Awasthi, Office Chief of the Agricultural Knowledge Center, Doti.
