Kailali model secondary school marks 29th anniversary with cultural celebrations
Dhangadhi: Kailali Model Secondary School in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-4 celebrated its 29th anniversary and Parents' Day on Saturday, featuring a vibrant showcase of cultural performances by students.
The event was graced by Madan Raj Bhatta, the school's founder, former principal, and advisor, who served as the chief guest. In his address, Bhatta highlighted the institution’s remarkable progress in the educational sector of Far West Province. He expressed pride in having established Kailali Model as a premier educational institution in the region and credited the dedicated efforts of the entire school team, led by current principal Tapendra Singh, for elevating the school’s academic excellence.
Principal Tapendra Singh stated that the school, established in 2052 BS, has been operating with well-equipped infrastructure for the past four years. Kailali Model Secondary School offers education from nursery to grade 12 and is particularly renowned for its science faculty at the +2 level in Far West Province.
Demonstrating academic excellence, Nirajan Pandey, a student of Kailali Model, secured fourth place nationwide and first in the Far West Province in the grade 12 annual examination conducted by the National Examination Board (NEB) 2081, achieving an outstanding GPA of 3.92. The school has consistently produced top-ranking students in the province in previous NEB examinations as well.
