Provincial chiefs of Sudurpaschim and Gandaki visit Alital, Dadeldhura

Dhangadhi: The Provincial Chiefs of Sudurpaschim and Gandaki, Nazir Miyan and Dilli Raj Bhatta, visited the tourist area of Alital in Dadeldhura on Thursday.

Upon their arrival in Alital Rural Municipality-3, they were warmly welcomed by Rural Municipality Chairman Sher Singh Parki, Vice President Mainakumari Rawal Bohara, Ward No. 3 Chairman Bal Bahadur Budha Magar, and other local representatives. The delegation was also briefed about the significance of the region's lakes and natural beauty.

Earlier, the rural municipality honored and welcomed both provincial chiefs at their office. Expressing their happiness over the visit, Chairman Parki and Vice President Bohara highlighted the importance of this historic occasion, as it marked the first time two provincial chiefs had visited their area.

Sudurpaschim Province Chief Miyan, visiting the region for the first time, praised the natural beauty of the Far West and emphasized that proper utilization of natural resources could pave the way for economic prosperity. Similarly, Gandaki Province Chief Bhatta, originally from Alital-3 Chaud, shared his personal connection with the area, reminiscing about his childhood and acknowledging significant progress in education, transportation, and overall development.

During discussions, Chairman Parki raised concerns about the lack of bridge construction in Alital and lamented the absence of an assured budget for infrastructure development.

The provincial chiefs also received a warm welcome in Alital-4, where Ward Chairman Kamal Bohara, local representatives, residents, and students gathered to greet them. At the program, both leaders assured the locals that they would advocate for solutions to the region's pressing issues at the provincial level.

En route to Dadeldhura, the provincial chiefs participated in a meeting and welcome ceremony at Budar Pipal Chautari in Kailali Chure-6, Faltude, and Doti, their home districts. Gandaki Province Chief Bhatta is currently staying in his home district, Kailali.
