Manav Sewa Ashram’s mahayagya raises Rs 48.3 crores in donations

Dhangadhi: A total of Rs 48.3 crores has been collected through the Shrimad Bhagwat Sapta Gyan Vigyan Mahayagya organized by the Dhangadhi branch of Manav Sewa Ashram.

The funds were received from government agencies, public representatives, the private sector, and various individuals. The Mahayagya was conducted with the objective of constructing a new building for the ashram in Dhangadhi.

According to the ashram, Rs 47 crores was raised on the final day of the event. Ashram President Ramji Adhikari expressed gratitude towards the donors, stating that their enthusiastic contributions will help support the development of the Far West region, which heavily relies on road infrastructure.

Renowned scholar Bhaskar Kamalnayan Gautam recited the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha with musical accompaniment during the Shrimad Bhagwat Sapta Gyan Vigyan Mahayagya.
