Glass bottle attack in Godavari: Three suspects in police custody

Dhangadhi: A young man was attacked with a glass bottle while under the influence of alcohol in Kailali.

Police reported that Chandra Bahadur Chaudhary, 35, of Khamaura in Godavari Municipality, was assaulted at Chowkidanda last night. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kabindra Singh Bohara, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Chaudhary sustained a head injury after being struck with a bottle. He is currently undergoing treatment at Padyama Hospital in Attariya.

The Area Police Office, Malakheti, has taken three suspects into custody in connection with the incident. The arrested individuals have been identified as Rahul Tamrakar, 19, Ramesh Tamrakar, 26, and Prakash Tamrakar, 50, all residents of Godavari Municipality-3. Police confirmed that all three were intoxicated at the time of the attack.
