Four arrested with drugs in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested two youths and two women with drugs in separate incidents in Dhangadhi, Kailali.

In the first case, two youths, including 22-year-old Bishnu Rawal of Lallipur, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-19, were apprehended during a routine check by a police team from the Area Police Office Bahuliya. Authorities recovered 67 Pre-Gava tablets and other drugs. Both individuals were handed over to the District Police Office, Kailali, for further legal action on Saturday.

In another incident, 24-year-old Lalita Rana, a motorcyclist from the same locality, and her passenger, 24-year-old Manita Chaudhary, were arrested near the Trinagar Customs Barrel in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3. The police team from the District Police Office, Kailali, seized 860 milligrams of brown sugar, a narcotic substance, from the duo. The women have been taken into custody, and investigations are ongoing.
