Nepali congress regional conference concludes in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: The regional conference of Nepali Congress Constituency No. 5 Kailali has successfully concluded in Dhangadhi. This marks the second regional conference held after the party's 14th General Convention.

The program, chaired by Nepali Congress Constituency No. 5 Kailali President Bhim Padal, featured central member Nrip Bahadur Ode as the chief guest. Addressing the conference, Ode highlighted the importance of unity among elected representatives, party leaders, and cadres. He expressed confidence that effectively publicizing the achievements of Congress representatives at various levels would ensure a strong performance in the 2084 BS elections. He also asserted that Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba remains a unifying figure for the party.

Central member Sushila Mishra Bhatta emphasized the need to prioritize people-centric initiatives and publicize the positive contributions of Congress representatives. She urged attendees to follow and promote good governance practices.

Other prominent speakers included central member Jeevan Rana, House of Representatives member Dilliraj Panta, National Assembly member and Kailali District President Narayan Dutta Bhatta, Provincial Committee General Secretary Nar Narayan Shah Manu, former minister and Provincial Assembly member Prakash Bahadur Deuba, and Provincial Assembly member Dammari Mahara. All speakers underscored the necessity of fostering unity within the party and advancing its agenda collectively.

In his address, President Bhim Padal called for greater responsibility among leaders at all levels to steer the Congress in the right direction. He stressed the importance of grassroots programs to keep party members engaged and active. He also noted the successful completion of the party's 100-day campaign.

The conference, held at Canary Park in Ward No. 15 of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City, honored District President Narayan Dutt Bhatta, Sub-metropolitan City President Yagya Raj Upadhyay, Presidents of Provincial Assemblies A and B, and all 21 ward presidents of Constituency No. 5. Various cultural performances added vibrancy to the event.

In the presence of more than 400 leaders and cadres, Secretary Vijay Joshi presented the organizational report, and Secretary Mahesh Gole conducted the program. The event was marked by active participation and unity among party members.
