Auto fleeing after an accident in Kailali taken into police custody

Dhangadhi: An auto that fled the scene after an accident in Kailali has been taken into custody by the police.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening on the Mahendra Highway in Basantapur, Godavari Municipality-4. The auto, bearing registration number 048 of Godavari Municipality-Ha, collided with a motorcycle (Sudurpaschim Province 01-009 Pa 979) driven by 22-year-old Bharat Khadka of Basantapur, Godavari Municipality-4.

Police apprehended the auto and its driver, 40-year-old Milan Rokamagar of Belpani, Godavari-4, on Thursday. The collision injured Bharat Khadka and 48-year-old Surjadevi Khadka, who was riding pillion. Surjadevi has been transported to Delhi, India, for treatment.
