Illegal goods seized from Kailali and Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: Police have confiscated illegal goods from various locations in Kailali and Kanchanpur.

In Kailali, a police patrol team seized contraband items, including almonds, tobacco, bidis, window hookahs, kaspa, hatta, chitkani, and fish fillets, valued at approximately Rs 46,600. The seizure occurred at Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-19 Khedaghat and Bhajani Municipality-6 Nabalpur.

Similarly, in Kanchanpur, illegal goods were confiscated from Bhimdatta Municipality-9 Tumdani and Punarbas Municipality-9 Dhansiga. The items included edible oil, bidis, tobacco, beverages, salt, betel nut, and a motorcycle, with a combined estimated value of Rs 99,520. The operation was carried out by a police patrol team deployed from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, and its subordinate offices.
