Dr. Shekhar Koirala advocates for establishing a teaching hospital in Geta
Dhangadhi: Senior Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has emphasized the need to operate a teaching hospital in Geta, Kailali.
Dr. Koirala expressed his commitment to taking the initiative for the establishment and operation of the hospital, highlighting the region’s well-developed infrastructure. Speaking at a press conference in Dhangadhi on Sunday, he stressed the importance of utilizing the existing facilities to benefit the people of the Far West.
“The Far West is the only province without a teaching hospital,” Dr. Koirala remarked, asserting his intention to actively support the project.
The development of a teaching hospital in Geta would address a longstanding need in the region, ensuring access to advanced medical education and healthcare services.
