Earthquake strikes Rayal, Bajhang
Bajhang: An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale struck Rayal, Bajhang, at 11:02 am today, according to the National Seismology and Research Center, Lainchaur.
This follows a 4.2-magnitude earthquake recorded on November 20, with its epicenter in the Annapurna region on the border of Kaski and Manang.
The Seismology Center has noted a recent increase in earthquake occurrences across Nepal. Given its location in the seismically active Himalayan region, Nepal remains highly vulnerable to earthquakes.
