Tractor collision claims one life in Chowkidanda, Kailali

Dhangadhi: A tragic tractor collision claimed the life of a young man in Chowkidanda, Kailali. Naveen Thalal, a 22-year-old resident of Dilasaini Rural Municipality-6 in Baitadi, succumbed to injuries sustained in the incident on Wednesday evening.

The accident occurred at Bhainsi Hat Bazaar in Godavari Municipality-3 when a tractor (Se 2 Ta 4523), driven by Munim Chaudhary of Godavari Municipality-3, collided with a motorcycle (Se 6 Pa 9294). Thalal, who was riding the motorcycle, was critically injured in the crash.

He was rushed to Seti Provincial Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead during medical care. The body has been kept at the hospital's morgue.

The police have taken the tractor and its driver into custody, and further investigations are underway, according to Malakheti police authorities.
